Hi,

we just released a white paper authored by Antonios Atlasis that provides an overview which pentesting tools currently support IPv6 and how to (still) use them if that's not the case. It can be found at https://www.ernw.de/download/newsletter/ERNW_Newsletter_45_PenTesting_Tools_that_Support_IPv6_v.1.1_en.pdf.
Hope some of you might find it helpful...

Nice job! Had done that twice before, but only published to the tool
makers.

Hi,

for hydra -M

this is actually fixed in v8.2 that came out on Monday :-)
But: you have to put IPv6 addresses in the input file in [] brackets,
because it is possible to supply a different port for each entry.
so
$ cat targets.txt
[fe80::1%eth0]
[2001::1]
[2002::2]:8080
etc.
But I have to mention that somewhere :)

and for the amap entry: amap is outdated and no longer supported by me.
nmap -sVC is way better. I know I was first with the technique, but as
therefore the implementation was simplistic, nmap did a way more
flexible and better implementation.

Greets,
Marc

I have read this info at amap site, but still, for reasons of completeness
I wanted to test it [or, because I am an old guy and I grew up with amap :)
